Many aircraft visit Wallops on a regular basis. This strange looking aircraft is the Proteus, an ultra high altitude research vehicle which visits occasionally.
Campers will see many things that most Americans have never heard of. This is NASA's version of the famous "U-2 spy plane," the ER2 high-altitude research aircraft.
