Other Activities
Each evening a fun space science learning activity is conducted. Also one evening we enjoy a trip to Chincoteague for refreshments and a relaxing stroll. Additional activities may be scheduled.

Housing and Meals
Bunk bed, barracks style housing is provided with a chaperone in each unit - in close proximity to the Wallops Flight Facility (campers are chaperoned at all times). The adult camp instructors sleep in single rooms in the housing facility on the same floor the campers use.

Lights out is at 10:00 p.m. each night. We have a full schedule each day and campers learn quickly that they must get the sleep they need.

Breakfast is served at 7:00 a.m., lunch at noon, and supper at 5:00 p.m. All campers eat together as a group with the instructors.

Tuition
Tuition for all five-day residential camps is $645. Included in this fee are all camp activities, double occupancy housing, cafeteria meals, transportation to all camp activities, a work book, camp T-shirt, and all materials.

Cancellation / Refund Policy: VSFA incurs certain costs prior to camp such as room and meal guarantees; therefore, in the event of a cancellation 2 weeks prior to camp date, a refund of $445.00 will be applicable. In the event of a cancellation less than 2 weeks prior to camp date, there will be no refund unless there is a medical statement signed by camper's physician in which case the $445.00 refund will apply.

Campers are responsible for arranging transportation to and from the Academy on Virginia’s Eastern Shore.

Each camp is limited to the first

Space Flight Adventure Camp began at the NASA Wallops Flight Facility the summer of 1998. Due to its success, the program has now grown from one camp to nine.

All camps are a mixture of excitement and fun with hands-on experiences. Come and meet new friends and enjoy the adventure of learning about space.
